H&P Snapshot Data Requirements

A simple registration and data submission process make the Snapshot easy and time efficient for you and your staff. For tailored estimates, the required information, for U.S. operations only, is basic and easily obtainable (only industry and workforce size are required).

  • industry type
  • workforce size
  • workforce age distribution
  • workforce gender distribution
  • workforce distribution by occupational categories
  • payroll
  • benefits load
  • revenue
  • net income

Information submitted will be used solely by IBI and its HPQ data partner for the purposes of data assessment and will not be shared with third parties.

Reports Details

Typically within two weeks of your data submission, you will receive a Snapshot report allowing you to make a business case for health and productivity management to your senior management.

Reports showcase expected workforce health conditions (treated and untreated), health status, absence, lost time from presenteeism (health-related inability to function at full capacity while at work), lost productivity and ultimate business impact. Snapshot data tabulation involves:

  • Modeling of employee demographics against a large health and productivity database (built from data derived from the Health and Work Performance Questionnaire (HPQ) developed by Dr. Ronald Kessler of Harvard Medical School and from the newer HPQ-Select) to project experience for the participating company.
  • Converting absence and at-work presenteeism to lost productivity using IBI’s established methodology based on peer-reviewed research by Dr. Sean Nicholson (Cornell University) and Dr. Mark Pauly (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania).
  • Couching absence, presenteeism and lost productivity in the bottom-line terms you need to make a business case.
