IBI has formed reciprocal partnerships with organizations that share its dedication to improving workforce health and productivity and demonstrating the business value of health:
- American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine: ACOEM’S mission is to promote healthier, more productive workplaces. IBI cosponsors with ACOEM the one-day course on health and productivity, the HPM Clinic, and cosponsors the Workforce Health and Productivity Summit.
- Center for Health Value Innovation: The Center for Health Value Innovation shares evidence of health, productivity, and fiscal improvement through the use of value-based principles in benefit design and purchasing. The Center shares best practices, challenges, and outcomes across small and large employers/health plans, benefits consultants, physician and hospital organizations, and manufacturers/HIT companies. The Center and IBI partner to conduct demonstration projects and develop educational material on the intersection of value-based design principles and health and productivity management.
- Disability Management Employer Coalition: DMEC’s mission is to provide educational resources to its members in the areas of disability, absence, health, and productivity. The primary goal of DMEC is to assist employers in developing cost-saving programs, encouraging responsive market products, and returning employees to productive employment. IBI assists in providing content for DMEC webinars, books and articles on the business value of health and on health and productivity measurement.
- National Business Coalition on Health: NBCH is a national, non-profit, membership organization of employer-based health care coalitions dedicated to value-based purchasing of health care services through the collective action of public and private purchasers. IBI and NBCH partner in presenting the Health and Productivity Forum and cooperate in webinars and programs about demonstrating the business value of health.
