The Business Value of Health: Linking CFOs to Health and Productivity

IBI’s research on how CFOs link health, lost time & productivity shows that the C-suite understands the importance of absence, presenteeism and lost productivity on their bottom line. But, they have little information to guide their planned interventions in these areas. When they get the lost-time information they say they want and need, they will consider the impact of absence and presenteeism against healthcare costs in moving to improve overall benefits performance and its impact on their bottom line.
