This map models lost work time costs resulting from confirmed COVID-19 cases to date. The assessment includes potential sick leave wages, short-term disability payments, and spending on employee benefits. Interested parties can view state-, metropolitan area-, and county-level data. This tool accounts for geographic variation in COVID-19 cases, employment patterns, industry mix, and wages. All findings should be considered approximate and contingent.
